An overview of the lesson plans approved for use in the Palm Beach County Schools. The plans are written for use in the classroom and are available at three levels: elementary, middle and high school. More Than Sad: Teen Depression
This 20 minute film aims to educate high school students about depression. Since the majority of suicides are caused by untreated or inadequately treated depression, it is the hoped that teaching adolescents to recognize the signs of depression in themselves and others, more will seek help and treatment. www.afsp.org
The Truth About Suicide: Real Stories of Depression in College
Preview this 27-minute film which presents a recognizable picture of depression and other problems commonly experienced by college students and other young adults.
