Boca Raton's Promise spearheads efforts in South County to adddress community mental health needs. Grassroots education efforts are underway in Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, and Delray Beach to support agency and school programs in Palm Beach County.

1. New Youth Service Project -

2. 70 Rally to Support Mental Health

Executive Director, Rita Thrasher, accepted a proclamation recognizing Mental Health Month in Boca Raton during the 2nd bi-annual meeting of the South County Mental Health Coalition on May 24, 2010, at the Boca Raton Resort and Club.
3. Board Holds Election
New Officers: Joanne Weiner, President; Linda Posner and Jim Shriner, Vice Presidents; Sally Nemes, Secretary & Treasurer.
4. "Fore The Kids" 2010 Golf Tournament
Planning underway "Fore The Kids" for the 2010 Golf Tournament to benefit Boca Raton's Promise. Jim Shriner will again co-chair the event to be held at the Boca Country Club on November 6. Save this date!
